Mr. Petrulis currently serves as a trustee for private trusts.

Admitted to practice in 1973, Mr. Petrulis retired from his law practice with Goodson, Wachtel and Petrulis in 2019. When practicing, he was a Certified Specialist, Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law, The State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization and a lecturer and author of articles on topics in the tax planning and administration of estates. Mr. Petrulis was also a contributor to the legislative process and has authored and/or consulted on several legislative provisions, including Civil Code Section 682.1, Community Property with Right of Survivorship. Mr. Petrulis earned his undergraduate degree in physics from Illinois Institute of Technology and received his juris doctorate degree from the University of Illinois. Areas of concentration: Estate Planning, Trust and Estate Administration, Conservatorships and litigated matters.

As the Chair of the Legislative Committee of the Beverly Hills Bar Probate Section, commencing in 1985, he participated in the Law Revision Commission’s revision of the Probate Code and in legislative proposals in the areas of probate trust and estate planning, for which the Beverly Hills Bar Probate Section received recognition from the California Law Review Commission.

Mr. Petrulis is a former member of the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization, and Past Chair of its Estate Planning Trust and Probate Law Commission. He is a former member of the Executive Committee of the Bench Bar Coalition.

Ms. Petrulis brings more than 25 years of business, nonprofit, and project management experience to support the Petrulis Fiduciary Services practice. Industry experience includes:

Her experience includes creating customized project plans and schedules, managing risk, managing business and real estate transactions, working with limited partnerships, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and managing financial budgets and accounts.

Ms. Petrulis earned her Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics-Economics from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island and her MBA from UCLA Anderson.

Additional training and certification includes:

  • Civil Litigation Legal Assistant certification from the Beverly Hills Bar Association’s Legal Assistant Training School.
